Your Role as a Humanities Teacher
At Newton, teaching Humanities means more than delivering content—it’s about helping students think critically, explore perspectives, and understand the world around them.

As part of our team, you will:
    Teach one or more of the following subjects: History, Geography, Environmental Management, or Global Perspectives
    Design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons
    Foster critical thinking and thoughtful discussion
    Support student wellbeing through strong pastoral care
    Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and enrichment
    Encourage students to become informed, responsible global citizens

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking educators who are:
    Experienced in teaching the British curriculum (minimum 5 years preferred)
    Qualified with a Bachelor's degree in History, Geography, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
    Holders of a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
    Passionate about student-centred and inclusive education
    Strong communicators with excellent classroom management
    Committed to continuous improvement and professional growth
