IB Administrator

Repton Dubai is seeking IB Administrator for an immediate start

The aim of the post is to work alongside the Director of Sixth form and Sixth form team to manage efficiently student performance, achievement and wellbeing.

This is a term time only position, however you must be available during July for transcripts etc.

Hours are 7.15am - 4pm during Term time.

Main Tasks 

• Communicate with parents regarding examinations, academic issues and concerns on behalf of the academic team 
• Run the Senior School Sixth form calendar, ensuring that school events are shared and promoted with staff and parents 
• Coordinate Sixth form academic events, parent workshops, staff inset and parents’ evenings 
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues based on effective two way communication 
• Ensure that agendas are shared in advance of Sixth form meetings with colleagues and to distribute minutes in a timely manner subsequent to them 
• Update and promote the Sixth form through the school website and other social media platforms 
• Collate Sixth form student information making it accessible to staff, to include tracking and mentoring support 
• Ensure Sixth form academic policies are kept up to date and that updates are shared with staff 
• Be able to use technology platforms in line with requirements from the Sixth Form Team, for example Managebac and IBIS

Knowledge, Skills and Experience: 

• The successful candidate should be a graduate with 3-5 years of experience 
• Excellent communication and English skills are essential 
• A good personality, effective interpersonal skills and excellent organisation; planning, organising and maintaining records, is essential 
• Should have a high level of computer literacy 
• Enjoy working with a vibrant and highly dynamic team
