Rome International School is looking to appoint a well-qualified Teacher of Science (Chemistry specialist) to join our committed and dedicated team. 

The ideal candidate should preferably have experience of teaching all three sciences at KS3 / Middle School level and also Chemistry at IGCSE up to IBDP level. 

The ideal candidate should preferably Offer of employment will be subject to the receipt of satisfactory references and immigration authorization if applicable.

Teach across all levels and abilities: Cambridge Checkpoint Science (KS3), IGCSE’s and IBDP Chemistry.

Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and an understanding of the demands of IGCSE  and IB examinations, and where appropriate, ensure that students are very well prepared to take these and any entrance requirements for their next phase of education. 

Develop, maintain and stimulate pupils’ curiosity, interest and enjoyment in Science and Chemistry

Is confident and experienced in the safe running of laboratory practical experiments.

This position will suit flexible, enthusiastic, international and well-qualified candidates who educate students to become inquisitive, enterprising and independent learners. We will also provide training where it is specified by the Awarding Bodies or to further develop our teachers professionally. 

RIS  is an IB World School.  The school is in a pleasant area of north-west Rome. The campus is set amongst almost four hectares and has been designed to meet every teaching and learning requirement.
