We are looking to appoint an experienced and outstanding IB Coordinator to continue to grow and lead this department within our school. 

About the role

As the IB Coordinator, you will be able to make full use of our facilities by being committed to a modern, constructivist, inquiry-based and personalised approach to learning that inspires and engages students. In line with this, we would expect you to have experience with, or an interest in, concept-driven, inquiry-based curricula and be able to speak passionately about the impact on student engagement and learning. You will have a growth mindset, be able to deal with ambiguity and be motivated by participating fully in all aspects of school life.  Preferably, you will also have experience with various modern international curricula including IGCSE and must have experience teaching and leading the International Baccalaureate. About you

Able to create a classroom culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved, you will have a degree in your specialist subject, a teaching qualification plus considerable teaching experience and knowledge of the curriculum. Receptive to feedback and ready to embrace change, you will be keen to share best practice with colleagues and peers.

A strong ambassador for the school, you will be able to develop new ways to engage students and parents with the wider school and Nord Anglia Education community. Your strong motivation and communication skills will also enable you to create a feeling of energy, excitement and personal investment within the classroom.

You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions for the United States of America (The Americas Region) including having British or American Citizenship or having authorisation to work in the United States. If you are a British Citizen you must have a PGCE and/or QTS

Selection Process

The closing date for application is 18th December 2019. First stage interviews will be conducted by Skype or telephone and final interviews will take place at the Nord Anglia Education Recruitment Event in central London in the week of the 21st January 2020 (alternative arrangements will be made for candidates who cannot attend in person).
