Job overview
SEK Budapest is looking for an experienced IB DP coordinator, who will be responsible of oversees all aspects of the Diploma Programme, ensuring it is delivered according to the standards of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO)
Main duties:
Plan, implement, and evaluate the IB Diploma Programme
Ensure alignment with IB curriculum frameworks and standards
Lead authorization and evaluation processes
Support and guide IB teachers in curriculum delivery
Manage and coordinate the cAS programme at the school
Promote best practices in teaching and learning
Organize professional development and IB training
Advise students on subject selection and IB requirements
Monitor academic progress and wellbeing
Ensure proper administration of IB assessments and exams
Coordinate internal and external assessments
Ensure deadlines and IB regulations are met
Manage IB documentation and records
Handle registration of candidates for exams
Oversee scheduling of classes and exams
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Degree in teaching certificatep, preferably in History
Education or relevant field (Master’s preferred)
IB teaching experience (strongly preferred)
Core Skills
Strong organizational and project management skills
Leadership and team development
Deep understanding of IB philosophy and pedagogy
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
