We are currently recruiting a Middle Years Program Coordinator to play a central role in creating a strong sense of community that will unite students, faculty and support staff from diverse backgrounds.

The MYP Coordinator is a Senior member of the Academy and plays an instrumental role in realizing the vision and mission of the network of Academies as articulated by His Highness the Aga Khan.

 S/He will;

  • Work collaboratively to develop and effect strategic decision making within to support the Academy’s educational aims.
  • Lead, coach and manage all staff in the Middle Years Programme by word, action and example.
  • Liaise and work with Heads of Department to ensure ongoing improvement in each area of responsibility.
  • Have oversight of all IBMYP programmes including the Personal Project, and all IBO administrative returns


The successful candidate should have minimum a Bachelor’s degree and must have an internationally recognized teaching qualification or a BEd /MEd and at least 5 years’ experience as a MYP teacher/leader. S/he should have previous experience in a middle/senior management role  and have IBEN training and activities.
