Are you a Qualified Mathematics Teacher with experience of teaching the IB DP curriculum?
Would you like to embark on a new adventure as a Maths teacher at an outstanding international school in Mozambique?
This Academy is a day and residential school, located in Maputo, Mozambique, offering an education built upon the renowned and internationally recognised International Baccalaureate (IB) programme for students aged 3-18. Their aim is to develop future leaders with the skills and knowledge to support positive development in their societies, by recruiting exceptional young people from all backgrounds and providing them with the highest international standard of education.
Maputo is the vibrant capital of East Africa's Mozambique. The Academy features state-of-the-art facilities, a multicultural student body, and an experienced team of educators and staff. They provide students with education of the highest standard in order to prepare them for lives characterised by leadership and service.
Admission to the Academy is means-blind and is based on merit. They consider all eligible students regardless of socio-economic status.
The school are now seeking a new Maths teacher to join their welcoming team from August 2021.
To be considered for this post, you must:
• Be a qualified Maths teacher with experience of teaching IBDP Maths
• Have at least 2 years’ teaching experience, post-qualification
• Be a global-minded individual, with excellent organisational skills
• Have a sincere commitment to providing high quality education to all pupils, regardless of background
