LOCATION: Thetford - King’s Lynn, Norfolk (travel will be required)

CONTRACT TYPE: Permanent, full time - 37 hours per week, full year

START DATE: September 2020

SALARY: Grade H £26,999 - £28,785 (pay award pending)

ROLE PURPOSE

Our client, a reputable multi academy trust with 13 schools are recruiting to an exciting new role providing dynamic and responsive ICT support across all of their Academies. This is a developing role and will help the trust to ensure that all staff are able to utilise technology to the highest level to support the learning of every children in their care.

As ICT Development Officer you will be able to deliver training to a range of people, with differing levels of understanding and abilities, investigate and introduce best value new processes and systems, develop websites and support the service delivery of central trust staff.

As ICT Development Officer you will be required to support and where necessary lead the ICT strategy for educational and support areas of the Trust and will act as 365 Administrator for the Trust to develop and manage the system to support Trust activities to the maximum possible.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant Degree
  • Level 2 (GCSE A*-C) or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Relevant Microsoft 365 accreditation

KNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTANDING AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven recent experience in using the full Microsoft 365 package and administration
  • Ability to develop flow and sharepoint
  • Understanding of website management
  • Confidence to work closely with the Trust Executive Leadership Team, the central Trust HR, Finance, IT and education team, and the Principals in their Academies
  • Proven experience preparing training materials and delivering training/presentations for a variety of audiences
  • Able to demonstrate ability to act as a trainer
  • Experience with multimedia and digital content development
