The successful applicant will:
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
- currently hold or be eligible to hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card; and
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
The ICT Helpdesk Support Officer must have a thorough knowledge of computer hardware, software, peripherals and a variety of internet applications, networks and operating systems.
The ideal candidate will also have well developing troubling shooting abilities and attention to detail.
The position will be required to diagnose computer faults and issues, resolve where possible or escalate to authorised repairers when required.
Providing helpdesk support to staff, students and parents of St Columban's College. The position requires the mentoring and supervision of our school-based ICT trainees who provide 1st level helpdesk support to staff and students at the College.
Some after-hours work will be required on occasion.
The position will initially be Full-Time, Fixed Term until the end of 2019, with the possibility of ongoing-continuing.
