ICT Learning Leader (Post not suitable for NQT’s)

The college seek to appoint a dynamic, well-qualified and passionate ICT Learning Leader to lead this highly successful department within this 11-18 College. The successful candidate must be able to inspire in students, an enthusiasm for learning and should be keen to continually expand their own knowledge of ICT.

The ICT Department at Budmouth College is made up of 3 designated ICT suites and offers Computer Science across the whole of KS3, Level 2 ICT and GCSE Computer Science at KS4, BTEC ICT and A Level Computer Science in Sixth Form. These are all popular options choices. 

The successful candidate will:  

• Have excellent subject knowledge

• Lead and empower a team of subject specialists

• Have a track record of achieving outstanding student attainment outcomes

• Possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of Budmouth College students and their community.

You will have the opportunity to:  

• Play a strategic role in the evolution of Budmouth College

• Be centrally involved in the design, teaching and development of the Computing KS5 curriculum

• Take part and run extra-curricular activities pertaining to Computing/IT across all Key Stages
