Mayfield School is a successful and popular school catering for pupils between the ages of 2-19 with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties.  Mayfield School operates across 3 sites in Torquay, Brixham and Paignton.

We are seeking to recruit an outstanding, dynamic and highly motivated ICT Network Manager to join the team at an exciting phase of the schools continuous growth and development.  The successful candidate will demonstrate experience and excellence in their ability to take responsibility for the schools IT systems and to offer direction to the ICT Technician. 

The role is for 37 hours per week, term time only to include 2 weeks over the school holiday periods. There is a potential for extra hours during the holiday periods and during busy times of the year.

You will require excellent inter-personal skills and extensive experience in IT systems which includes essential knowledge of:


• Office 365

• Gsuite administration

• Network - DNS / DHCP / TCP/IP

• Windows Server 2012

• Windows 7/10

• Hardware repair and maintenance including Laptops, desktops, chromebooks, projectors and various mobile devices.

• Cloud Solution services including Google Drive, One drive, Sharepoint, Vimeo


and desirable knowledge of:

• Azure

• Sophos

• Adobe: Photoshop, Premier, Illustrator

• Wordpress

• Social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram and Facebook

You will be able to work well on your own initiative as well as part of a team, have the ability to prioritise a heavy workload and to meet challenging deadlines.
