‘The Ripley Academy is located in Ripley, Derbyshire. The School was a founding member of the East Midlands Education Trust when it was formed in September 2014 and the Trust now has fourteen partner schools.

The innovative manner of the partnership between the schools means that The Ripley Academy benefits from the expertise that the other schools have to offer and we can also share our expertise with partner schools too.

Our aim is to widen the horizons of young people through opportunity, challenge and achievement, and inspire in them an excitement for life-long learning. Our school provides a safe, happy and orderly environment with a strong code of values. Irrespective of ability, we aim to meet all students’ needs. Our focus is to ensure that all of our students realise, or exceed, their potential and leave our school well-qualified and ready for the next stage in their learning.

We offer a wide range of learning pathways, including academic and vocational courses to ensure that we cater for the needs of all our students. We are committed to supporting students’ aspirations and building on their achievements. We wish to see our students developing self-confidence, initiative, resilience as well as care and concern for others.

There is no limit to learning potential and we have high expectations of our students. Enthusiastic and dynamic staff are continually developing their craft to ensure that learning is exciting and engaging.
