The Mossbourne Federation comprises four academies, all within close proximity of each other:
- Mossbourne Community Academy (secondary school);
- Mossbourne Victoria Park Academy (secondary school);
- Mossbourne Parkside Academy (primary school); and
- Mossbourne Riverside Academy (primary school).
Across the four academies operates a Central Services Directorate which supports all the academies delivering services such as estates, facilities, security, ICT, and telecommunications management, together with corporate communications, human resource and finance functions.
What we are looking for:
The Mossbourne Federation wishes to recruit for an experienced ICT Technician able to provide first class technical support for hardware, software, basic network management/administration, telephone systems, documentation, helpdesk and consumables.
The ideal candidate will have/be able to:
- Previous experience of working in an IT support role, preferably within a school environment
- Customer care experience, liaising with IT users using a helpdesk portal
- Experience of installing and configuring computer hardware, telephones, printers, scanners and software
- Experience of working in and supporting a VMware virtual environment
- Windows 7/8/10 OS hands on experience: installation, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Experience of working in a pressurised environment
- A Passion for IT with the enthusiasm and initiative to learn and develop new skills
