Oaklands is an Outstanding special school serving the London Borough of Hounslow that provides specialist education to students with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties and autism. From September 2018, we have a Primary school (New Oaks) located at Woodlands Road, in Isleworth, and a Secondary school (High Oaks) located at Gresham Road, in Hounslow. We can cater for students aged from 4 to 19. We are based across two different sites with both our school buildings offering state of the art facilities for our students.
Oaklands is at an exciting point in its development. We relocated in 2018 to our purpose built new school building (close to Osterley Tube Station and other public transport links) that offers state of the art facilities for our students.
We are currently looking for a ICT Technician, to maintain the efficient running and maintenance of all ICT facilities within the school and college. Working with the IT Manager, they will ensure the availability of a fully operational network, class computers and any other ICT equipment and will also promote the use and understanding of ICT within the school with staff, students and with parents.

Oaklands is an excellent special school serving the London Borough of Hounslow. Upon completing their apprenticeship, our staff can progress onto LSA or TA roles.
We offer teacher training sponsorship and are currently sponsoring 4 of our TA’s through teacher training, 3 of whom started their career at Oaklands on our teaching assistant apprenticeship.
We would like to offer work experience placements to students interested in pursuing a career in special education and are always keen to hear from those wanting to volunteer in our school.
