Manor High School is a large 10-14 school (NOR 870) with a culturally diverse population, set in the highly desirable residential area of Oadby and has strong links with the neighbouring family of partnership schools.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, organised and self-motivated ICT Technician to join our school’s ICT Support team, and exploit and enhance their development skills in website design and data analysis & reporting. The ideal candidate will have a passion across these fields.
You will have a minimum of two years’ relevant IT experience, and be qualified to ‘A’ level or equivalent. Whilst a degree is not essential, you will need to show evidence of in-depth analytical and practical skills.
Some experience of the following would be advantageous:
- Web design
- VMWare server virtualisation products
- Citrix XenApp
- SIMS / SIMS Learning Gateway
- Thin client technologies (Thinstation, etc)
- iOS & Android
- Linux, and Open Source tools in general
We are aware that there will be areas where training will be required; therefore a willingness to train and learn from others is important. We are looking for a team player and someone with flexibility who shows a willingness and capability to learn from others in order to develop and acquire a range of skills.
