International community schools are currently seeking outstanding  IGCSE + A level Business Economics Teachers for the academic year 2023/2024. The school provides high-quality education and follows the American & British Curriculum. The successful candidate will be able to deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed to achieve the best possible outcomes, possessing the energy and enthusiasm to engage, enthuse and motivate learners.

The successful candidates will be closely aligned with the school's core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Task:

• Delivering lessons that inspire students to succeed to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities include:

o Teamwork and collaboration

o Being a good communicator at all levels

o Commitment to developing positive relationships with all school community members

o Working alongside fellow teachers to plan engaging lessons that meet the requirements of the curriculum

o Liaising with colleagues and working flexibly

o Working with parents to ensure the happiness and best academic outcomes for all children

o Working cooperatively with curriculum support staff (where applicable) to support children’s development.

• Managing classes effectively, using approaches which are appropriate to students’ needs to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils

• Maintaining good relationships with pupils, exercising appropriate authority and acting decisively when necessary within the school’s behavioural policy

• Being a positive role model and consistently demonstrating the positive attitudes, values and behaviour expected of pupils

• Having high expectations of behaviour, promoting self-control and independence of all learners

• Carrying out duties as directed and within the school’s policy.


Requirements:

• Bachelor in Business Economics or relative subject

• Teaching Diploma

• Native level English speakers preferable; IELTS 8.0 for non-native level speakers

• Minimum 2 years experience as a class teacher

• Experience with an American/British Curriculum would be advantageous

• Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language
