Job overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Business Studies Teacher to join our team. Applicants must be fluent English speakers and be able to work efficiently as part of a team. The successful applicant will be delivering the IGCSE, AS and A-Level Business Studies curriculum.
The successful candidate must have experience in preparing learners for success in Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A-Level examinations. He/She may also be allocated Form Tutor duties and so excellent communication and organisations skills are important.
Candidates must be experienced in teaching a second subject at Secondary Level (humanities or ICT preferable). Alternatively, a part-time position teaching only Business Studies may be offered to the right candidate.
All applicants must be able to attend in-person interviews and a demonstration session session(s).
For this position we will require a minimum of:
- An undergraduate degree in a related field.
- A PGCE or PGDE (QTS preferable but not required).
- At least two years of experience in preparing learners for success in Cambridge IGCSE, AS and A-Level Business Studies examinations.
- Experience in working with learners for whom English is a second or additional language is favourable.
- Excellent communication, organisation, interpersonal and time-management skills.
- Availability to start on the 27th of August 2019 and commitment for at least one academic year.
