The Independent Learning Support department are recruiting for an ILS Coordinator for the Welwyn Garden City Campus.

The main responsibilities of the role are to co-ordinate the day-to-day running of the Independent Learning Support department. To provide effective and motivational leadership and line management to a team of LSAs/CSWs. Facilitate working with curriculum areas/ parents/ carers/multi-agency partners. Work with the Learning Services Manager to ensure that the curriculum area meets college objectives through delivering outstanding quality of student experience.

Shortlisting Recruitment

• A General standard of education to A level/Level 3

• Experience of team management

• Experience of supporting secondary age or adult learners with specific additional needs e.g. sensory impairment challenging behaviour, dyslexia and/or Autism/Aspergers Syndrome within an educational/similar environment
