East Riding of Yorkshire Council seeks a well-qualified and motivated individual to join its successful improvement and advisory service. Positive consideration will be given to a secondment.

We are looking for someone with a proven record of excellent teaching and good or outstanding senior leadership in schools.

You will:

  • work as an improvement partner with headteachers to move schools to good and outstanding as quickly and sustainably as possible
  • plan, manage and deliver high quality CPD
  • make a significant contribution to raising standards in schools as an adviser for all aspects of high quality teaching, learning, leadership and management
  • contribute to narrowing gaps for all vulnerable groups
  • work in primary schools across the county, building effective relationships with headteachers and staff at all levels
