We currently have the following vacancy at Iford Academy, BH7 6QP – Inclusion & Placement Co-Ordinator & Mental Health Lead

We are looking for an Inclusion and Placement Co-ordinator & Mental Health Lead based at our Secondary school, Iford Academy; Petersfield Road.  The purpose of the role is to co-ordinate provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs, to co-ordinate and support pupil integration and transition, to record and progress multi-agency liaison and support for pupils including EHCP and SEMH meetings and actions, SEN Reviews and assessment requests, and to work positively with families and outside agencies. Together with a thorough understanding of Child Protection legislation, you will need experience of working with students who display challenging behaviour.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate and ambitious with a drive and commitment to improve the life chances of our young people. You will preferably have experience of working with young people with additional needs including childhood trauma, alongside SEMH and ASC.
