Job overview

We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate individual with high expectations and the ability to build strong relationships with students. You will have a real commitment to driving student engagement and securing the best possible life chances for our young people. This role requires excellent organisation, planning and prioritising skills, and the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. We are looking for a proactive role model of the school's values of positivity, ambition, resilience and thoughtfulness.

This is an exciting opportunity because you will play a central role within the pastoral team, supporting our students as they navigate daily school life. It is a busy, fast paced role that sits at the heart of the school, providing a vital link between students’ home lives and their development in the classroom.  

You will be joining a team of energetic and passionate practitioners with a wide range of skillsets and expertise, supporting our students as they expand their knowledge and build critical cultural capital to succeed in life.

The Birkenhead Park School is a co-educational secondary school for children aged 11-16 and has over 700 students on roll.  It is an exciting time to join us as we are on an ambitious journey of transformation and are looking for staff who are motivated to make a real make a difference to the community we serve.
