About Saint Gabriel's College
Saint Gabriel’s College is built on its core values: service to others, generosity of spirit, and commitment to excellence. Every day, these values guide our community as we work together to help each member thrive. As an inclusive Church of England secondary school, we value every individual and foster a welcoming environment. Our staff are committed and enthusiastic, and we expect the same dedication from our students.
Our mission is for all members of our community to fulfill their unique, God-given potential. Our school chaplain supports students and staff of every faith and background, helping them develop spiritual self-awareness and inner strength.
At Saint Gabriel’s, we are a family. Each student is part of one of our three Learning Communities, promoting excellent relationships and ensuring that each child is known, nurtured, and encouraged by their peers. We value strong partnerships with parents and carers, as we know they make a vital difference to student success. Our parent curriculum supports and encourages families to become an active part of our learning community.
Our broad and balanced curriculum enables our students to excel in sixth form, university, and beyond. We place particular emphasis on the Creative Arts, expecting all Year 7 students to learn a musical instrument as we believe music imparts the discipline that fuels academic success and brings joy to our community through performance.
With encouragement, challenge, and support, our students shine with confidence, grow in spiritual and moral awareness, and develop the skills to make a meaningful impact on the world.
It is a privilege to lead such dedicated colleagues and exceptional students. Our website offers a glimpse into the life of Saint Gabriel’s College, but we invite you to visit us and experience first hand what makes our school so special.
