The Inclusion Coordinator plays a pivotal role within Safeguarding and Wellbeing in the Student Services department and is an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced and highly skilled candidate.

Acting as the Deputy Safeguarding lead, you will manage a case load and support the Head of Safeguarding to track, monitor and report on safeguarding and wellbeing cases.

You will also contribute to the design, implementation, day-to-day management and continuous quality improvement of administrative processes to support young people and adults who experience barriers to learning.

You will work with students who are in care, leaving care, and those enrolled on particular programmes where additional support may be required.

The successful candidate will have significant experience of successful working with young people in the 14-19 age group, including those with challenging behaviour and vulnerable people. You will also have experience of handling safeguarding and/or child protection cases in an educational or youth-focussed setting, and knowledge of the Prevent Duty and implications.
