We are seeking a responsible and committed individual to support the leadership team to implement effective strategies to promote positive behaviours. You will manage the day to day running of the internal exclusion unit and provide effective resources and delivery materials. The successful Inclusion Coordinator will liaise with other colleagues to create personalised timetables for pupils, with bespoke interventions in order to reduce repeated negative behaviour patterns.

You must be able to communicate effectively at all levels, possess first class organisation skills and have high expectations of achievement and behaviour.  You will enjoy working with young people and be passionate about motivating pupils to achieve the best outcomes possible.

The role is for 37 hours a week, term time only plus 2 additional weeks, therefore, this is reflected in the pro rata salary.

The new Stanground Academy opened on 1 April 2012 and is one of the Greenwood Academies Trust’s Group of Academies, replacing the predecessor Stanground College. The Academy has since undergone a £24M building project and now boasts state of the art” buildings providing academic, vocational and sports facilities for pupils and staff.  These include fully-equipped specialist rooms, extensive sports facilities, a dance studio, a theatre and high tech ICT equipment.
