This is an exciting opportunity to join our Trust at South Dartmoor Community College. We are seeking to appoint a highly organised, enthusiastic, inspirational and resilient individual to become part of the well-respected SEND team. The successful candidate will work closely with the SENDCo in leading the TOR inclusion resource base at South Dartmoor Community College.  S/He should be capable of developing excellent relationships with the students, therefore a proven record of successfully working with young people is essential. S/He will be a hard-working individual; with high expectations and an unwavering determination to get the best outcomes for students. 

The College this year, secured some of the best results in the South West for student progress. It has a strong staff team in place to ensure every child is enabled to fulfil their potential including specialist teachers at all levels. We have an excellent academic record and our pastoral support is second to none.  Our students report that they feel very happy and safe at the school. We are proud of our students and they are proud of their school. The relationships between staff and students are strong. Community engagement is also an important feature; we have an active Parent/Teacher Association (FOSDA—Friends of South Dartmoor Academy).
