We require, from 1st September 2019, a committed and enthusiastic Inclusion Leader and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead to join this Outstanding (OfSTED April 2011), lively and successful 11-18 Secondary School. 


The successful applicant will work within a very successful inclusion team. You will work collaboratively with the SENDCo, Designated Safeguarding Lead, Teaching Assistants and whole staff to provide support for students across the 11-18 age range. You will co-ordinate appropriate support for our vulnerable students, parents and families by building strong working relationships with outside agencies and further developing our own policies and procedures for safeguarding. You will address the needs of individual and targeted groups of students to help improve self-esteem and raise standards of achievement.

Bishop Heber High School is a mixed, non-denominational comprehensive school with a sixth form, there are 1280 students on roll aged 11-18. It is situated in the picturesque village of Malpas. The school has an enviable reputation for excellence both within its catchment area and far beyond. The school was founded in 1960.

Location

Malpas is a large village placed deep in the south Cheshire countryside. There are several pubs in the village as well as good quality local shopping. Malpas also hosts a regular Farmers’ Market. If you are looking to explore, Malpas is a great base for sightseeing with Cheshire, Shropshire and North Wales just a stone’s throw away. Practically on your doorstep is the famous city of Chester, you can reach the city in 30 minutes and explore all the historic sites.
