Job overview

We are keen to recruit our new Inclusion Leader as the current post holder is moving out of London.

This post is a full time, non-class based role for a qualified teacher with considerable expertise and ability in coordinating the support and guidance needed to identify and meet the special and additional needs of a diverse and buoyant large community of children aged 3-11 years.

The role carries with it considerable responsibility and is a key leadership post within the school. You will work alongside our Headteacher and her three deputies and a very able team of teachers and class and non-class based teaching assistants to support our learners and families. We have an extensive support team in school including a safeguarding and attendance officer and ‘Place2Be’ our in-house therapeutic counselling service. We are a Local Authority school in a very warm and welcome federation with two other local schools, all three schools are currently Ofsted-outstanding.

Brindishe Green is a large, diverse, successful, well-resourced and creative school. We are a five minutes walk from Hither Green station, which is two stops from London Bridge. Why not come and visit us and see if this is your next career move?

Please ring the Headteacher Sarah Gorbutt on 07970646071 or 02088527245x224 for more information or to make an appointment to meet her and view the school.

The post is for September 2018 or January 2019 (we are also open to you joining us in the autumn half term).

Download the job description and person specification today. Applications must be received by midday on Friday 22 June 2018 and interviews will be on Thursday 28 June 2018.
