NASH COLLEGE Croydon Road, Hayes, Bromley, Kent BR2 7AG  Nash College is part of Livability which is a Leading Christian charity, we provide specialist day and residential education for 65-70 students aged 19 to 25 with a range of complex learning needs, physical disabilities and / or autism with associated behavioural needs. 

Inclusion Manager - Safeguarding, Prevent and Welfare Lead Officer (Adult Safeguarding) Salary £30,000 FTE    Pro Rota Actual Salary £25,719.18       Hours 35 hours per week – Term time only 38 weeks, 1 weeks training, 5.66 weeks holiday pay.  

We are seeking an exceptional person to take on the role of Safeguarding Lead Officer (Adult Safeguarding) to support our Education Management teams with managing safeguarding concerns/enquiries.  You will also be undertaking the role of the Safeguarding Manager for all concerns and enquiries.  You are required to complete all relevant safeguarding investigations, documentation, liaising with Parents, Carers, Social Workers, Multi-Agency teams and Council safeguarding teams. You may be requested to train staff in Safeguarding across the college.  We are looking for somebody experienced at a senior practitioner level and with experience of undertaking safeguarding enquiries and undertaking the Safeguarding Adult lead role.  

Significant experience of undertaking Mental Capacity Assessments is also required.  

The ability to work in a busy environment with the skills, knowledge and expertise to support staff and to make sound decisions is required.   

You will possess excellent communication, analytical and written skills, as well as being effective at prioritizing.  

As part of a supportive management team, you will work with the Head and Deputy Head of college.

Livability Nash College is an independent specialist further education college for disabled people aged 19-25.

Based in Hayes, Bromley, the college caters for a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including physical, communication and sensory disabilities, medical conditions or autism, in addition to learning disabilities, from severe to profound.

Our approach places a particular emphasis on ‘Learning Through Living’ – personalised learning, facilitating a range of communication needs, and supporting students in the community and with future vocational opportunities. The Course title is ‘Skills for Adult Life’ and runs for three years with an optional fourth year.
