Are you a talented and experienced leader with a proven track record of success in improving standards and raising pupil outcomes? We want to hear from you if you are looking to extend your experience and skillset and want to challenge yourself in developing this role. The successful candidate will be a committed team player with excellent organisational and motivational skills.

You will:

● Have a degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.

● Be an experienced practitioner, ideally with a strong background in
      working with children with SEN.

● Have a track record of delivering ‘outstanding’ teaching.

● Hold the national SENCo qualification or be working towards it.

● Hold a DSL qualification

● Have a thorough understanding of the SEN Code of Practice.

● Have successful experience of teaching across the primary age range.

● Be committed to ensuring SEND students excel both personally and
      academically.

● Be keen to develop professionally.

● Be organised and experienced in leading and managing other staff

● Be an excellent team player and communicator, able to liaise with a
      variety of external agencies.

● Be prepared to teach, model-teach and team teach with our teaching
          and learning staff.

● Be positive and forward thinking.

● Be calm and empathetic.
