We are looking to appoint a calm, confident and enthusiastic individual to work within our Bridge, an internal inclusion facility that supports students to make the most of their education. 

The Bridge is an invaluable element of Ash Manor School, providing a supportive environment for vulnerable students to gain the confidence and skills that they need to succeed in education, with the focus being for students to be in their lessons, achieving and learning so that they can realise their full potential.  

You will work with students in a range of ways including supporting core learning activities in English and Maths, encouraging students to regulate their own behaviour, supporting them through difficult life situations and operating nurture groups.  You will have a good level of English and Maths, strong motivational skills and a desire to improve educational outcomes for young people.  

Ash Manor School is a successful 11-16 mixed comprehensive in West Surrey.  Over the last 3 years the school has consistently improved and is now one of the Top 20 schools in Surrey for students’ progress.  It was judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in its most recent inspection and is now on the journey to becoming the exceptional school our community deserves.
