We are a welcoming and supportive academy, with a relentless determination to provide the very best education for every child. We place students at the centre of everything we do, with a focus on creating a culture of success and a positive climate for learning. In a beautiful setting, enjoy the state of the art facilities that the academy has to offer.

Working alongside the existing SENDCo, this role is a key appointment in ensuring the positive life chances of our students through success and achievement.

We have a holistic and inclusive approach to the work that we do. The Academy has received accolades and external recognition, with the awarding of the Inclusion Quality Mark - Centre of Excellence, alongside the Carnegie ‘Gold’ Mental Health Award for the work we do to support our diverse and dynamic student body. We are seeking to appoint an Inclusion Officer with the drive to contribute to an atmosphere of respect, recognition, and mutual support within the school. Promoting equality within and values the diversity of the school community is essential to our ethos. Our Inclusion Officer will support our SENDCo to ensure the Academy identifies and addresses the needs of our students. They will work with SEND, disadvantaged and vulnerable groups of students to ensure appropriate support is offered so students can thrive.

The successful candidate needs to be extremely well organised, have the ability to prioritise workload, ensure strict deadlines are met and adhere to the SEND Code of Practice.
