We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced individual to support our inclusion team, responding to and dealing with a wide range of behaviour issues throughout the school.

Our School:

· Judged by Ofsted as outstanding, The Charter School North Dulwich is a fully inclusive mixed 11–18 comprehensive school adjacent to North Dulwich railway station and serving a diverse inner-city community 

· 77% of our students achieved A*-C in English and Maths at GCSE last year, and we are in the top 25% of schools in the country for progress at GCSE and in the top 12% for progress at A Level

· In the Jan 2018 Staff Survey 98% of staff said they are proud to work at our school and 96% agreed that the school is well led and managed.

The post holder will be responsible for dealing with a wide range of behaviour issues including classroom incidents using our “on-call” system, patrolling corridors, and liaising with members of the School Leadership Team, Inclusion Manager, Key Curriculum Leaders and Year Leaders to ensure that appropriate strategies are employed and sanctions taken. 

If you are a good role model, flexible, supportive and understand the needs of children and young people, the school would like to hear from you. You should be able to develop a range of strategies to promote a good attitude to learning in and around the school.

The successful candidate will join our Inclusion Team and report to the Deputy Head Teacher and the Inclusion Manager. You will have the drive and intent to secure school improvement; have a creative and innovative approach and an ability to embrace and promote change; be enthusiastic and determined to support the school in its drive for continuous improvement.

The Charter School North Dulwich is a fully inclusive mixed 11 - 18 community school, serving an inner city catchment area and achieves significantly above national norms. The school converted to academy status in September 2010.
