The Governors of this small and forward thinking 'Good' school are seeking to appoint an outstanding enthusiastic inclusion support assistant to join our team.
Reporting to the Assistant SENCO the focus of the role will be to work closely with the Assistant SENCO and classroom teachers to support individual or small groups within a whole class setting at both Key Stage 3 and 4.
The post holder will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A specialism in phonics, cognitive behavior, dyslexia or speech and language would be an advantage. They will also be able to work on their own as well as part of a team and relate well to pupils to help overcome any barriers they have to learning.
The position is ideal for a person committed to professional development within a supportive environment who will enjoy ensuring that learning support is an important element in the support of the teaching and learning of our students and who can show the school's advantages to a wider audience.
