As our inclusion team is growing we would like to appoint a committed, self-driven and passionate Inclusion Support Teacher to continue improving and developing our provision for children with additional needs and lead our support for an entire key stage. The successful candidate will be experienced in working in a primary setting, with a proven track record of effectively teaching and supporting children of determination. 

Key Responsibilities

-Identification, planning and delivery of high quality intervention in KS1 or 2, with a primary focus on the integration of Level 2 and 3 children into the classroom and closing attainment gaps.

-Using relevant assessment data to drive whole school approaches to teaching and learning related to inclusion and children with additional needs. 

-Supporting teachers and developing quality teaching for inclusion using the coaching model. 

-Helping resource and plan and focusing small group intervention based on need.

-Managing and Supporting LSA’s

-Team teaching, coaching and collaboratively planning. 

-IEP writing and management throughout the year, supporting teachers in target setting.

-Supporting in the development and implementation of the inclusion SIP and Action Plan. 

Curriculum

We offer the National Curriculum for England to children from FS1 to Year 8 currently (opening Year 9 in 2021-22), as well as a fully enriched programme, including music, theatre, STEAM, sport, adventure and enterprise options. We offer a competitive salary package to the right candidate.
