Are you passionate about making a difference? Would you like to be part of our drive to inspire our school community to be aspirational, ambitious and to “dream big”?  Do you believe in the relentless pursuit of excellence?  

We are looking for an experienced specialist teacher with proven outstanding practice in SEN as well as class teaching to join our school team. This person will be required to work full time supporting pupils who have Pupil Premium funding, their families, and class teachers.  The successful candidate will deliver bespoke daily sessions for children from Year 1 up to Year 6, mainly on a 1:1 or small group basis. The ability to use exciting and innovative strategies that will engage pupils and promote rapid progress in basic skills is essential. The sessions link into class learning and support the transfer of skills into independent work, therefore excellent communication skills are required. The role demands a nurturing approach that shows understanding of social and emotional aspects of learning alongside providing challenge to reach high standards in learning.  We would be particularly interested in someone who has significant experience in working with children with SEN or managing SEN, however all experienced teachers are welcome to apply.    This amazing teacher needs to: 

• Model consistently good and outstanding, inclusive classroom practice  

• Be committed to providing a wide range of experiences that will inspire and embed learning 

• Demonstrate passion for learning and raising standards of achievement all pupils 

• Be able to work creatively to engage wider family in children’s learning 

• Be committed to our nurturing ethos in order to grow confident and happy learners 

• Enjoy being an active part of a dynamic focussed team
