Ifield Community College is   looking to appoint an Inclusion, Welfare and Early Help Plan Assistant

to work as a key member of   the pastoral team. You will be   supporting in the planning, developing  , organising and monitoring of support systems and procedures as part of an   administrative and operational hub that supports the school’s pastoral work,   creating and implementing an efficient and effective service that   demonstrates high quality and enhances the learning opportunities for   students. In particular, you will take responsibility for the Early Help Plan   processes. This is a term time only position.

 The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate robustness & resilience as the role can be extremely rewarding but very demanding. It is important to be able to maintain a level of calm and have excellent communication skills with both adults and young people. It is essential to have good organisational skills, ability to multi task and act as a role model for students. 

We have excellent facilities in a state of the art building, which is situated in a pleasant location only 30 minutes to both Croydon & Brighton, by rail or car.

Ifield Community College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in West Sussex serving students from the ages of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Crawley has approximately 1,020 students on role.

Ifield Community College was established in 1966, with a new school building opening in the centre of campus in 2005. The secondary school has a broad range of sporting faciltiies, including a fitness suite, tennis courts and a large playing field.
