Inclusive Learning Manager (SENCO)

The Inclusive Learning Manager post is a unique opportunity for an exceptional individual to join our outstanding College. This crucial role will lead the Inclusive Learning Support (ILS) Team in assessing and meeting the needs of our students with special educational needs in order to support effective curriculum management and delivery. The successful candidate will be an ambitious professional who will be dedicated to add value to our College through promoting academic achievement and learning success in and beyond the classroom.
If successful, you would play a vital role in the College, which was graded as ‘outstanding’ in all categories by Ofsted in 2017. We excel in providing a broad, inclusive and high quality education to all of our learners, which has resulted in some of the highest levels of progression to Higher Education in the sector. In 2019, Joseph Chamberlain College achieved A level pass rates of 99.4%, which were the best results in the history of the College.
The College is situated within easy reach of Birmingham City Centre in a state of the art building with superbly equipped classrooms and outstanding facilities.
We were featured in the 2015 Parliamentary Review for best practice in further education and were awarded the CPD Mark last year for our comprehensive package of innovative and high impact professional development. We have also been shortlisted for both the 2017 and 2019 TES Sixth Form College of the Year Awards.

For teachers, the salary will be on the pay structure of either the Colleges Teachers’ pay scale, from £23,396 - £38,748 per annum, which will be a full-time contract, which will include up to 14 hours teaching per week.
For support staff, the role is full-time (36.5 hours per week), term-time only plus 10 days and the salary will be negotiable, depending on skills and experience.
