Independent Schools Director

We now seek an experienced and entrepreneurial educationalist to join our organisation in the newly created role of Independent Schools Director. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, this individual will manage our four schools in the UK and South Africa and lead the expansion of our independent schools portfolio globally. This is an exciting opportunity to build a strong independent schools brand in a dynamic global schools market, and to contribute corporately to the continued development of an organisation at the forefront of education worldwide.

The appointed candidate will combine a track record of successful independent school leadership with high levels of commercial acumen and substantial knowledge of business development in an educational setting. Strong strategic abilities, first-class relationship building skills and the gravitas to operate effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments are all essential, as is a genuine resonance with the aims and values of the Education Development Trust.
