St Peter’s School is looking for a qualified and experienced Individuals and Societies teacher familiar with the IB curriculum.The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in History or in the field of humanities* and a high level of written and spoken English.

We are looking for a knowledgeable person able to teach geopolitics, global perspectives, citizenship, classic and modern history, and current affairs. Interest in the field of sociology and human-machine interactions will be a plus.

English is the main language for communication at the school.

Therefore, we would like the candidates to show interest in the future of education and some knowledge on Artificial Intelligence and their possible applications, Exponentiality and the future of technology and Factfulness and the power of data driven solutions to problems.

About St. Peter's School Barcelona

Founded in 1964, St Peter’s School is a private, international school located in Barcelona for pupils from Early Years to Secondary (Pre-U). Our age range is from 12 months to 18 years.

Our student body is currently made up of 630 pupils of over 40 nationalities and we have 110 teachers representing over 10 nationalities.

The school is comprised of four stages:

  • Foundation Stage
  • Primary
  • Secondary
  • Pre-U

Our curriculum combines elements from Spanish, English and International models. English is our main means of communication at school, but we also include the study of Spanish, Catalan, French and German. Teachers are all native speakers.
