An exciting opportunity exists to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work as part of a team in delivering a unique programme for young people with learning difficulties, which combines education and on-the-job training.
The CHI Project (Classroom in the Heart of the Hospitality Industry) is based at the Marsham Court Hotel, Tesco Riverside, and Citygate building in Bournemouth.
The CHI project is an innovative industry based training course for students with moderate learning difficulties based within the workplace. This is an accredited course designed to enhance students’ employability prospects by providing a blend of intensive ‘classroom’ based learning and purposeful on the job training and work shadowing.
Applicants will need to have a driving license. The ideal candidate will be able to work a minimum of 12 hrs a week however the hours can be potentially increased to 27.5 hrs a week depending on candidate’s availability.
