Lumio Private School has an open position for an Infrastructure & Integrations Engineer.
Requirements
We are looking for a hands-on infrastructure engineer who can take ownership of our internal systems, integrations, and core services. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, automation, and scalability of our IT environment, which supports both operational and educational needs.
Must-Have Skills and Experience:
Experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or system administration roles
Strong knowledge of networking: VLANs, routing, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi segmentation
Solid hands-on experience with Linux systems (primarily Ubuntu) and basic shell scripting
Experience with Windows Server administration, including Active Directory and Group Policy
Experience with Hyper-V: virtual machine setup, resource allocation, backup strategies
Proficiency in automation scripting using JavaScript (Node.js) and Python
Familiarity with Jira and experience setting up automation and integrations
Ability to maintain and support WordPress (PHP) websites
Basic experience with Docker and container-based environments
Ability to set up and manage monitoring and alerting systems (Grafana)
Proven ability to work with APIs and automate workflows across multiple SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft, HRM, LMS, etc.)
Nice-to-Have:
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
Awareness of GDPR, data privacy best practices, and secure systems design
Previous experience in an educational or internal tooling environment
Experience with firewall configuration and network segmentation(WatchGuard)
Responsibilities Include:
Maintain and develop internal and external web services
Write automation scripts and integrations between internal platforms and APIs
Administer Windows Servers and Linux-based VMs (Ubuntu), including backup and recovery
Manage internal network infrastructure, firewall rules, access segmentation
Monitor infrastructure health and performance with alerting and diagnostic tools
Maintain and improve existing WordPress-based resources
Collaborate with teams to automate operational workflows and reduce manual workload
Support VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) for students
