This is a great opportunity to join Acorn Education and Care as a Class Instructor at Manor House School in Horsham.

Salary: £21,500 - £28,000 per annum

Hours: 40 hours per week

Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

The role

To develop students learning by implementing and delivering agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom. This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting other education staff in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. To supervise whole classes during the absence of teachers (i.e., cover supervision) and to respond to questions and generally assist students in undertaking set activities when fulfilling this supervisory role. To share the school’s responsibility to support and promote the learning, personal development and well-being of all students.

Teaching and learning activities will take place under the direction and supervision of a Qualified Teacher and in accordance with arrangements made by the Head of School
