Interim Bursar

The Head and Governing Body of Pennthorpe School are looking to appoint an Interim Bursar as cover between us appointing a new Head of Finance. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Bursar to play a brief but pivotal role in the continued success of this leading independent school, working as part of a successful Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will have proven experience of leadership and financial management skills.

The Bursar reports to the Head in advising the Governors on financial and operational matters. and is responsible to the Governors. The overall responsibility of the Bursar is for the financial and business affairs of the school including the financial systems, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, the facilities, buildings and estates.
