Job overview

EIFA is an established and well regarded bi-lingual international school located in the heart of one of the most international cities in the world, London. It offers an outstanding internationally focussed curriculum, taught in French and English.

Since starting in September 2013, its Junior School became oversubscribed, and in order to ensure continuity in providing bilingual education to our students, EIFA opened its Senior School in September 2015.

EIFA takes a child-centred approach to education and will promote the diversity of its students – encouraging responsible global citizens and preparing them to achieve the highest of standards in their subsequent higher education.

As the interim Headteacher, you will carry out your professional duties in accordance with, and subject to EIFA ethos and core values which are Bilingual, International and Quality

Currently the school has 240 children mainly in the Prep school with capacity for 350 children in total. The school has an exciting development programme in mind with little EIFA opening in September 2016 and further expansion of the senior school to take place, ultimately the school will become a K-12 school.

The successful candidate will lead the school into the next phase of its development and will build upon the foundations already in place. Candidates should have a strong background of leading a school through a considerable period of growth and change, particularly from a primary school into a whole school. Additionally, a strong track record of successfully implementing the IB Diploma, obtaining accreditation from the IBO and in development of schools is highly desired.

Closing Date: 5th August 2016
