We are now seeking an International Liaison Officer to provide provision and support for students and parents, maintaining the high standards of the Collegiate. To assist with the smooth induction of new students and transition of existing students within the school, especially those from China or Thailand. The post holder will support with the re-registration of existing students, reviewing examination results and modifying student timetables. Working with all students to provide academic and pastoral support. Promoting integration of international students and work with the other staff involved in this area. To monitor the attendance data of international students in particular. To communicate well with parents, guardians and agents.

The post holder's responsibility for promoting safeguarding and welfare of children and young persons for whom s/he is responsible, or with whom s/he comes into contact will be to adhere to and ensure compliance with the Collegiate's Child Protection Policy and Staff Code of Conduct at all times. If, in the course of carrying out the duties of the post the post holder becomes aware of any actual or potential risks to the safety or welfare of children in the school s/he must report any concerns to the Collegiate's Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Salary
If combined with a teaching role, MPS/UPS with Queen Ethelburga's salary enhancement. If not combined with a teaching role, Queen Ethelburga's Liaison Officer scale (c. £22,000 starting salary).
