We are seeking to appoint a proactive and supportive Intervention and Study Supervisor to help students make the most of their learning opportunities and develop effective independent study habits.

About the role

You will oversee the day-to-day operation of these learning environments, ensuring they provide purposeful, well-managed spaces where students can focus on their studies, build confidence and make progress.

Working closely with students and Progress Tutors, you’ll provide guidance, encouragement and appropriate support to help students stay focused, organised and motivated. You’ll foster a positive, inclusive and respectful learning environment, promoting positive behaviour and a joyful school culture. By setting high expectations for behaviour, attendance and engagement, you’ll motivate and challenge students while encouraging them to take responsibility for their learning.

About you

You should have previous experience of working with young people and the confidence to use Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook.

The role requires someone who is adaptable and confident working across a range of subject areas without a regular timetable. You will need excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines, and strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.

You will also demonstrate an unwavering commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, ensuring that their safety and wellbeing remain at the heart of everything you do.
