Job overview

The Governors of Blessed Dominic Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Intervention/PPA Cover Teacher with a secure track record of high expectations and outstanding outcomes for all pupils. 

We were judged ‘Outstanding’ in all areas in our last section 5 inspection (June 2019) and more recently in our Diocesan section 48 Inspection in December 2021. We are vibrant two-form entry school with a thriving multicultural Catholic community which consists of passionate and dedicated staff, governors and parents.  In September 2019, we moved into a brand new building and have access to the latest technology, resources and a learning approach that supports pupils’ wellbeing and creativity.

 The successful candidate will:

  • be preferably a practicing Catholic or willing to support the Catholic ethos of our school
  • be an excellent practitioner with a proven record of consistently meeting the Teachers’ Standards
  • be organised, adaptable and a good communicator 
  • be able to work effectively as part of a team 
  • be open to new ideas and willing to try new initiatives.
