Castleward Spencer Academy, is a brand-new school that is part of the Spencer Academies Trust.  We are looking for a part time Teaching Assistant who can work flexibly to provide targeted intervention support for a focused group of children. The hours are not fixed, so the intervention support could be timetabled to suit the successful candidate.  If you wish to discuss this role, please contact Lindsay Trail, Principal, at lindsaytrail@castlewardspencer.com

  • Has the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Is motivated and passionate to achieve the very best for the children in our care and makes a genuine difference
  • Makes learning visible through inquiry and can make learning exciting for all
  • Takes their own initiative to assess and evaluate pupils’ needs
  • Is ready to learn themselves and grow with us
  • Has excellent communication skills and a sense of humour
