The Education and Early Intervention Service of Wrexham County Borough Council is looking to appoint a dynamic Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team who are committed to providing a range of positive interventions which enable children and young people to succeed in learning and achieve their potential.
The successful candidate will be highly skilled in this area and have a high level of specialist knowledge and expertise, particularly in the area of supporting vulnerable learners. They will be proficient in working with schools and a range of partners and stakeholders, including parents.
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional committed to ensuring that the needs of all children and young people are successfully supported.
The successful candidate will have:
- Knowledge and understanding of successful strategies to support learners who require additional targeted support, some of whom will exhibit complex and challenging behaviours.
- A strong commitment to public service values.
- An ability to work in a changing environment and support the service improvement journey.
An enhanced DBS is required for this position.
