We strongly believe that structured discipline combined with supportive guidance is essential in preparing our students for the future. We have a strong moral purpose and fundamentally believe that young people need to learn from any mistakes that they make, and also that they understand the importance of following instruction in a respectful manner to better themselves.
The creation of an Isolation Room Manager at Glossopdale School is one of the next steps in our behaviour improvement plan as we endeavour to rapidly raise standards. This is a new role and the successful applicant will be morally aligned to our values.
The successful applicant will have the ability to maintain appropriate records, create a calm and orderly environment in the isolation room, coordinate work for students, communicate well with staff and parents/carers, and they will be extremely efficient with time.
There is no expectation for the successful candidate to be from an educational setting, you will however, have a strong work ethic and the desire to accelerate your own development as well as the students’ progress and conduct through this role.
Our school is a warm and caring community for all students. We celebrate diversity and believe strongly in providing an environment where all young people thrive. Our core purpose is to support students of all abilities and backgrounds to develop high aspirations and achieve their potential. We encourage all students to work hard and aim high in order to succeed both academically and personally. We nurture and build ambition for our students.
You will be joining the school at exciting times as we have recently moved into a brand new building which provides an excellent teaching and learning environment and state of the art technology.
We are located in the High Peak district of Derbyshire, within easy commuting distance for Manchester, Stockport and Sheffield.
